written by Flemish writer/poet Jacob van Maerlant.

Needless to say I had a great time working on these.

I recently started a collab-strip with the talented Marc Palm.

We basically draw 3 panels and then pass it on.

I like how the coloring turned out & Marc's drawings are just awesome!

This is a Belgian favorite of mine. Kama is da man!

Multiforce. by Mat Brinkman.

Odd but awesome stuff! It looks like doodles, but it's black magic!

De Zwarte Smurfen. by Peyo.

Or "the smurfs". They even have a real movie now.

The comic was better...

Sea Devils. (DC Comics)

Don't know much about this book, but the concept is pure fun.

Divers with no special powers Vs. huge, monstrous underwater creatures!

The assignment was to make a spread about the Netherlands in the year 2011.

Since I live in Belgium, I had to make up silly stuff and just fantasize my way through...

which is exactly what I like to do most! :-)

I recently became third in a Dutch/Flemish competition for cartoonists,

called "Benelux Beeldverhalenprijs 2011".

My entry was published in the newspaper "NRC.next".

Pretty happy about it.
